She needs no introduction in my blog I guess. Very rare would the calendar dates on which I don't end up listening her. Her songs work like a mysterious tonic for me.
No doubt, she is the best voice singing Tagore in our time. Every nuances, every subtlety she maneuvers make her unique in the contemporary music scene.
Every time I listen to a new Tagore's song covered by her, I become more likely to stop listening that particular song in someone else's voice. Yea, I know; It's kinda alarming! Yet, I'm helpless-- happily vulnerable to this killing duo - Rabindranath and Jayati!
